I have developed five assessment instruments throughout the course of my research. They are free to download by researchers who plan to use it in research. Please use the citation provided. Anyone who wishes to use them for commercial projects must first contact me and go through Cambridge Enterprise.

Empathy Quotient-10

The 10-item Empathy Quotient (EQ-10) is a validated brief version of the full Empathy Quotient (Baron-Cohen & Wheelwright, 2004). It measures the ability to identify another person’s thoughts and feelings, predict how someone will behave, and to respond with an appropriate emotion.

Mentalized Affectivity Scale

(Greenberg et al., 2017)

The Mentalized Affectivity Scale (MAS) is a 60-item assessment that measures three aspects of emotion regulation: Identifying, Processing, and Expressing.

Musical Engagement Test

(Greenberg & Rentfrow, 2015)

The Musical Engagement Test (MET) is a 23-item assessment that measures five dimensions of attentive music listening: Cognitive, Affective, Physical, Narrative, and Social.

Sensory Perception Quotient-10

The 10-item Sensory Perception Quotient (SPQ-10) is a validated brief version of the full Sensory Perception Quotient (Tavassoli et al., 2014). It measures basic sensory hyper- and hyposensitivity across all five senses.
